Stock Exchange, Brokerages Develop Interest in Cryptocurrency Trading

Germany’s second largest stock exchange, Börse Stuttgart Group (BSG), partnered with SolarisBank to develop a cryptocurrency trading platform while TD Ameritrade began examining the potential of offering Ripple (XRP).

BSG CEO Alexander Höptner said SolarisBank makes the ideal partner due to its banking expertise and financial technology experience.

“SolarisBank’s blockchain factory helps us to take the trade in cryptocurrencies and tokens to a new level and set standards in transparency and reliability.”

This project will work with the Bison app which BSG developed with Sowa Labs. The app provides on the go trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

In another instance of an established financial firm entering the cryptocurrency market, the brokerage TD Ameritrade plans to offer cryptocurrency assets including XRP. The brokerage tweeted about the possibility on its official, verified Twitter. The firm experienced an enthusiastic response from Ripple owners and its own clientele.
